A&R Director of Amp Channel, Malcolm’s career spans over 20 years, with Director positions held at 3 majors (Island, PolyGram, Warners), 2 leading independents (V2, Sanctuary) and career sales in excess of 40 million units. Malcolm has been responsible for the signing of hit artists such as Lloyd Cole and The Commotions, Julian Cope, The Christians, Tanita Tikaram, Gill Scott Heron, Liberty X, The Datsuns, Marc Almond, Happy Mondays, Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries). As well as being involved in developing the careers of The Cure and Bjork and many others. In his most recent position as Head of A&R at Sanctuary he gained valuable experience in successfully signing and developing the careers of established and “heritage” bands.
